How Does TruScene Work?
►
TruScene is attached to the top of the vehicle’s windscreen
It is connected to the vehicle’s ignition and will continue to record when the vehicle ignition is switched off
TruScene is constantly recording. When an impact or jolt is detected, or a driver selects to manually save, the camera stores video footage of the incident to memory
TruScene can be removed from the vehicle to manually record external and 3rd party damage, thus removing the need for other types of cameras
Recorded footage is fully encrypted ensuring all saved clips are tamperproof
will store up to 200 (30 sec) clips and thereafter will overwrite old clips with new clips
TruScene is compatible with HGV’s, coaches and light goods vehicles
To access the recorded footage a USB cable is used connecting the camera with the users on-line PC/laptop. The footage is then downloaded to the TruScene on-line database
The user can select to copy files locally to their own computer as well as authorise their insurer to access specific video clips via the database. Clips will play as default using ‘windows media player’
footage is stored on the TruScene database for a number of years in accordance with data protection laws, providing fleets and insurers a free, safe and secure bank facility for their valuable incident footage
