Vehicle Camera Systems Ltd is a UK company set up in 2004.

The company spent its early years researching the most beneficial aspects of vehicle mounted camera systems including ease of use, court admissible evidence, data protection regulations, insurer compatibility, windscreen positioning (VOSA regulations) and fleet requirements.

Development of the TruScene camera began in 2005. We carried out our own trials between March 2007 and March 2008, in which time the camera was proven to reduce accidents by as much as 73%. Soon after our own trials were complete we initiated trials with leading industry experts in insurance – Towergate, and logistics - CEVA Logistics. There results were also very successful. Both companies are now actively using the TruScene camera.
