Vehicle Camera Systems Ltd is a UK company set up in 2004.
The company spent its early years researching the most
beneficial aspects of vehicle mounted camera systems
including ease of use, court admissible evidence, data
protection regulations, insurer compatibility, windscreen
positioning (VOSA regulations) and fleet requirements.
Development of the TruScene camera began in 2005
Trials were carried out between March 2007 and March
2008, in which time the cameras was proven to reduce
at fault accidents by as much as 75%.
Early insurance industry interest has been encouraging
leading to a number of ongoing pilots with key sector
underwriters.
